Introduction
A meditation app for sleeping and waking up using the power of voice.
The main mode of interaction in Sleep La is the voice. Each of two scenes have a unique voice related affordance based around the practice of meditation.

The first scene is a breathing excercise for relaxing before sleep. It follows the 4-7-8 breathing practice.

The user follows the 4-7-8 breathing technique guided by audio and visual cues. When they breathe out they are asked to make a gentle 'whoooshing' sound and the environment responds to encourage the breathing.

The second scene is a gentle humming excercise. The user can change the pitch of their voice to turn the surrounding envionment from day (high pitch) to night (low pitch).

In both applications responses unique to VR are used in tandem with voice interaction: hand interaction, immersive effects. The aim of this project is to see if we can successfully create a calming VR application powered by the voice.
