Week 1 & 2

Brainstorming and Experimentation

Our initial plan was to make an immersive 360 space which oscillated in synchrony along with the human breath much like the application BreatheVR. We looked into using Meta's Voice Interaction SDK.

Week 3 & 4

First Iteration

We created a first proof of concept for our immersive space which oscillated in response to the user's breathing sounds.

Week 5 & 6

Complete Redesign and Reimplementation

We decided to completely redesign our application. The interaction was not clear to the user and the voice trigger was unreliable. We decided to split into two scenes one for humming and another a gamefied breathing experience.

Week 7

Redesign Implementation

Implementing our redesign. Working on two seperate applications one for humming and one for breathing.

Week 8

Project Integration and Iteration

Integrating these two applications took a lot of effort owing to different features needing different microphone requirements but a solution was found. Adding hand interactions to the application and redesigning the environment.

Week 9

Final Preparation

Final round of bugfixing, testing and stabilising for final demonstration.
